Everyone will be doing double takes when mommy is out on the town with her mini(s) in adorable matching outfits. Admittedly, as a first-time parent, pre-mom me vowed never to dress my little one in “matchy-matchy” clothing. Now that I’m currently placing my foot-in-my-mouth and wholeheartedly dressing my baby in the same outfit(s) I’m wearing, I do it simply because it creates (and spreads) so much happiness and joy. Especially, with all the global trauma and stresses we’ve gone through of late, it’s heartwarming to know that all it takes is some matching fuzzy coats, duo polka-dot dresses, or bear-y cute shirts – for instance, to bring a smile on anyone’s face.

In celebration of Mother’s Day and beyond, here are the best (and sweetest) mommy + mini matching outfits to add to your family wardrobe:

Favorites include this Dahlia Dress for mama ,mini, and baby with puff sleeves and tiered skirt (perfect for park strolls and picnics); glamourous Paris in Black Dress in mama and mini with soft tulle with embellished flowers and black yoke lining (to bring wow-factor to your next special event); and pretty-in-pink Brynley Dress (in mama, mini, baby) with floral print, pleated skirt, and billowy sleeves.

Samantha Benson founded Sammy + Nat in 2014 to honor her late mother Nancy, who was a loving and incredible midwife. Utilizing her skills and fashion industry experiences, Benson decided to create a luxurious baby and children’s clothing line that not only offered stylish and eco-chic garments but also paid tribute to her mom by partnering with charitable organizations such as Bundles of Joy, which supports women and their children in critical need through initiatives such as fundraisers. As for clothing, you cannot go wrong with their signature Senna Love Pajama with monogram option in mom, mini, and baby. Composed of ultra soft 100% Peruvian Pima cotton, garments are non-toxic, use no chemicals in the production process, and are all-natural.

Freed

These fun and fuzzy coats offered by Freed are a must-have for adult and tiny fashionistas. Founder Marissa Freed started her company after growing up in the garment industry. Today she is at the helm of her family’s 100+ year manufacturing business based out of Winnipeg, Canada. These statement matching coats are unisex (so dad can also partake in the sartorial fun, too), come in vibrant hues, and are also 100% vegan and cruelty-free. On the environmental front, Freed emphasizes low-waste production and uses the cutoff pieces to fashion accessories such as headbands and totes. Favorites include this unisex teddy-inspired faux-fur Sherpa Ruby coat (named after the founder’s daughter) in steel color for adult and mini; and take-a-walk-on-the-wild-side zebra robe coat in adult and mini.
