MaryHardingJewelry Bead Blog: Ornament Blog Hop

Artwork Bead Scene is owning its 6th Annual Ornament Site Hop now.  I have been wanting to make some Xmas Tree ornaments for numerous decades now but just didn’t get to them.  So this year  I  set aside some time.  I made a decision to make them from porcelain clay and  use some of my have texture stamps for decoration.   I seemed via my stash of cookie cutters for a Xmas tree shape and observed a little a person as viewed  in the photograph over and went to get the job done.  Since porcelain clay requires a sluggish drying time to avoid warping, I started perform on these many months ago.  I also preferred to make some greater trees for ornaments and uncovered a design I liked in a metallic cutter and produced the subsequent set of Christmas trees noticed underneath.

These had been also an experiment in glazing and I enjoy how the hues came out.

Up coming I needed to do a established of  photo transfers on to polymer clay.  I selected some Victorial Floral pictures for these trees noticed down below.

These Victorian Floral picture ornaments can be hand coloured or remaining black and white.  I like the high-quality of the black and white so I have not coloured them.

All of these ornaments I created lend on their own to getting hung on a tree or a wreath with a easy hook or ribbon.

I hope you will go to the other blogs in this hop.

Many thanks so for halting by.

Delighted Holidays!!!!
